I'd say the gap between Wednesday and that favoured Premier League team is as big, if not bigger, than the gap between us and a non-league side in terms of feeling like we exist in different sports. These are global brands, not football clubs, and I think sticking a Man U shirt on and saying they're my Premier League team (which I definitely don't, btw) is only marginally more relevant to us than doing the same with an LA Lakers or New York Giants shirt is.
