Rhodes last scored consistently back in 2014 which almost feels like a lifetime away.

 

..but fans still clamoured for his signing even after the goals started to dry up.

 

Certainly not laying the blame on him, there are many factors which caused him to struggle but whichever way you look at it, it’s one of our worst signings ever.  Only that of Abdi beats it.

 

As for Winnall - never been given a consistent run in the side, throw in the idiotic loan swap to Derby, injury etc and he’s been a little unlucky imo.  As has been mentioned he’ll probably get sold for a loss.

 

Both signings a symptom of where were were at the time - which hopefully the powers that be seemed to have learnt from.
