slinger208b
From CC's St Mirren post match comments it seems he might've used the "win,WIN!" inspirational moment from Rocky II. His attitude for the smaller away matches has been all "fitness, learn from mistakes" blah blah, but for the last pre season and first hillsborough match it was more "go out there and win". Good approach for the players and a good buzz for the first home crowd. Anyone else read into that?
pickledegghiderman
I know people might laugh at me for saying this but when I used to play football manager I always used to play a poor team in the last pre season friendly. We'd give them a spanking and the morale of the players was always good going into the first game of the season
Semedo's ferret
Same at any level. You try not to play a team thats gunna thrash you in your Last preseason game. However, i think we played St Mirren as a last resort.
