alan48
With all the comings and goings close season , seems to me the biggest effort we should have put in was to sign Baart . It's obvious from the games we've played so far that no matter which combination of central defenders we put together ,we lack pace and judgement , ability to tackle and muscle out the opposition . Baart and Liera played well together . We should have tried harder to sort the defence rather than bring in players for other positions . Know it's early days ,but just cant see what Taylor brings that is better than others already on the books .Gardner struggles for pace but at least uses his strength. So frustrating at the moment . Thought Hughes had a good game , sharp in the tackle and alert to what was going on around him . Can only get better .

lanzaroteowl
Batth, should have been the next person we signed after Antonio. He is the single biggest miss at the moment.

Couldn't agree more, had a brilliant season for us. People say he wants to play for Wolves but I don't he's played for them yet this season. Surely a footballer wants to play football, if a club gives you an opportunity you ****** there hand off!!!!
