Guest Sheff Owl Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Dave Jones was speaking very highly about both of these players, we spent 300k on Maguire, he obviously wasn't a panic signing because Jones said he had watched him last season numerous times and kept an eye on him. As for Danny Mayor he is a very good player and a good option to have on the bench, Jones said he is very excited about him and can't wait to get him started. I'm just wondering if he thinks they ain't ready and is unwilling to give them a try like he kept saying with Lee, yet Lee comes in and on his debut did fantastic, he clearly proved Dave Jones wrong.
