arithmetic
Don't forget that when Mandaric came in, we had no scouts, only a single physio, etc. We must have had to invest a lot behind the scenes on infrastructure just to get the club back on its feet, before we could even think about transfer fees. BRADDAZ
We paid a fee for Maguire Aye. Forgot him. Still hardly a high amount for 3 players we've paid fees for. Certainly not throwing money at it.
pwwlowl
Interesting read that. If you read between the lines, HTFC fans are just being honest about the fact that their club lacks the scale and infrastrcuture of ours and therefore couldn't cope with back-to-back promotions into the Premiership. There is something to be said for having the capacity to handle the level of expectation and with DJ, MM, Wembley of the North we do have this capacity. For sure it is important not to get carried away but when you look at Norwich, Wigan, Stoke and Reading, a fairly high level of expectation/hope is not unfounded for us.
