Guest one gary shelton Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 True David Grof was nervy (he's never played before such a big crowd before) and he was punching too many instead of catching, he kept us in it with a couple of excellent saves in the second half and one with his feet first half. Hungarian, 22 yo and we signed him from Notts Co in the close season. Brought in as understudy to the legend that is Jimmy Walker, he got his chance and is now keeping Super Jim out. We fully expect to have Grof between our posts for teh next 10 to 15 years. So despite our lowly position in the league(dropped back into the bottom four now) our two keepers have been very busy with shot stopping all season and so much so that we have STILL not lost a game by more than two goals in any game.
