CB31 Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 can anyone else remember him when brentford manager turning to the south stand and flagging the referee off behind his suit coat because of a decision.i thought it was funny that. It's a great memory, one of the funniest thing I've seen from an opposition manager at Hillsborough. He got sent to the stand afterwards I remember, before they scored two in the last ten minutes. Most Wednesdayites remember the time he took to pay respect to the two lads who died on the way back from the Coventry game, so rightly so we should remember that fondly. Has his critics managerially and I don't want to go down the route of 'oh he's mad, what a character', but I respect him and plenty of the things he's done make me smile. Singing along to 'hi ho silver lining' in the play-offs against us I thought was great, as well as the stick we gave to him for that red coloured pullover he wore (whatever it was).
