tilIdie
Why the bloody hell cant you bleeding well tackle? havent you been learnt the art to it? and dont you flipping well realise we are shipping goals because your lazy ass morons are not tackling your just being lazy fookers and backing off. When JJ came on he made a difference atleast he was actually putting effort in but I seriouslt am thinking of heading down to the training ground and let you lot realise what chuffing passion is because you havent got a clue!!!!!!!!! Furious George
Where was this question when Irvine was in charge? I know its the done thing at the moment to slag the players off, but isn't it usually the managers job to instill self belief and passion?

Guest Buxtonian
Surely, any lad/man whatever, if he has the ability to play football at ANY level, should not want motivating. If he's got as far as Football League level, he should have his own passion, and anyone in whatever job who doesn't have self-belief is in the wrong job. The Manager's job should be to 'polish' this self-belief and passion, not instill it. If it isn't already there, you can't instil it. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. That's an ideal-world scenario, unfortunately the real world doesn't work like that. Some players need shouting at, some need nurturing, some need their ego's massaging, some need putting in their place. It's the same management that goes on through everyones workplace. What we've got, is someone who slags players off through the press and all he seems to be doing is making sound bites that unbelievably has everyone lapping at his feet. Give him more time, give him the summer, sack the players cry out the proles whilst pumping their flaming torches and pitchforks in the air, meanwhile our rudderless ship sinks ever closer to League 2. tilIdie
It's simple they either start tackleing or we get relegated the amount of goals we have shipped purely due to lack of tackling is bloody stupid.
