scram Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 I remember Darren Purse's last year when it hit him on the back in that it was fairly similar as Potter really couldn't move out the way. Even without my blue specs, it wasn't a penalty. Potters arm was out away from his body when it hit him - if his arm had been at his side then he wouldn't have stopped the ball - we wouldn't have conceded a penalty and hopefully we'd have dealt with the cross Penalty's like that are given regularly these days i'm afraid Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He even had a ball print on his shirt which he was showing the ref, but referees are never able to back down even if they know they've just made a mistake.
