Martin Allen was manager for new season and left after 4 games apparently due to falling out with MM. left after 6 weeks to take the Bolton job. Ian Holloway was sacked after managing Leicester to relegation. Nigel Pearson won League 1 and reached the play offs after finishing 5th in Championship. According to Wiki he left because he that the club seemed reluctant to keep him, and that Paulo Sousa had been at the club's guest at both play-off games. Then Paulo Sousa.
