townend_owl Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I do feel kind of sorry for AI in the fact that it is the first chance he's had to make any real changes to the squad (i.e. money) and the fact he's signing so many new players just shows the lack of confidence he has had in what he inherited, but at the end of the day, even without the new signings we've had a squad that should wee wee this league on paper, and although 'on paper' isn't a gospel guide to a season, the right manager WOULD be in the top 2 at this moment - and for that reason, it's got to be the end of the road while there's still a glimmer of hope this time around.
