Guest Briscoe Inferno
Outsource all telephone ticket operations. the club should be running online sites only. Although we might do that already now. Contract out the 'running' of our catering stands, but keep the profits and revenue. If league one occurs the club needs to reduce its non-core football related wage bill as much as possible. Outsourcing whilst not nice is a greate cost saver, as the club doens't have to pay NI contributions or any other costs associated with people. But depending upon the contractual terms, the outsourcing of the catering operations doesn't mean loosing the 'revenue' . If we go down to league one. Radical reform is needed on the 'off the pitch' activities to enable the 1st wage bill to be as large as possible. Hell i'd even suggest getting an 'events' management company or similar in to start running match day hospitality or similar. It can't be healthy for the club to be employing people whom are used 22 Saturdays every month. Really radical solutions need looking at. Wasn't this one of the things that caused problems with quality and customer care under the old regime? Better off setting up franchises within in the stadium with McDonalds / Burger King / KFC / Beres or whoever to ensure that quality is maintained through standardisation.... That because everything was FULLY outsourced and managed with the attention to detail of ................. But unfortunately if League one beacons we might well have to look at that option for next year. imho its the only way the club can keep 1st team funding to a maximum. The wage bill for the first team should be slashed to 3.5 million per year with a maximum salary of £5k per week, and the savings invested in youth team recruitment, retention and training. Think we could buy the best players from the clubs around us in the divisions below rather than have an academy, youth set up.We 've missed out on a lot of talent because of lack of funds.
