Guest
Just now, owls maniac said: I made the point that MUFC fans have at least attempted to put pressure on their owners despite the perceived futility. I don’t buy that excuse at SWFC when we are losing cash hand over fist. The answer to your question is very few. Blackpool is one example though, and they are now in a higher division than us. So fan action turned things around at Blackpool? How long did that take compared to our 'apathetic fan base? They were unhappy with the ownership when they dropped out of the PL. In the decade since then they went into receivership and had a season in the 4th division. The protests of the fans certainly took a long time to have any definitive impact if you are relating their current promotion to that in any way.
