Abdi? Both cost about the same amount of money but at least we needed a centre half when we bough JVA.  A central midfield playmaker was way down the list of priorities when we spunked our load on Abdi.

 

Then again we also spent twice as much on Rhodes when we already had 7 top strikers on the books.  Sigh.
