robster_owl
Is this the start of actually improving the academy future prospects and starting our scouting network through all the ages, that MM has spoken of his desire to deliver on? "The lads were worked hard but did well and impressed the coaches. A Wednesday youth team scout confirmed that he will come and watch the team in Scarborough in the near future, in the hope of signing some players on." solo
playing in scarborough both in 11 aside and 6 aside i'd say there is some big talent thats not getting picked up anymore here, Usually United had the monopoly for players here with the kevin blackwell links and the links they had with pindars leisure centre but that seems to have all gone flat now. I'd suggest that the scouts get down to pindars centre in eastfield on a tuesday night and see whats there. I'm no professional myself and our team is just there for fun. but theres teams in leagues higher than us with some good talent.
