Transfer fees and spending

Have just heard that Chelsea are back in for Fernandez at Benfica. Paying the release clause of £105m would take their spending in the last two transfer windows (ie/ since last summer) to around £1/2 BILLION.

Have you reached the point where you think it's all got out of hand, is unsustainable and you're losing interest?

If so, what transfer was it?

 

Personally I thought it was about 20 years ago, Veron to Man Utd for £28 million.

Forest keep signing player after player and none leave (other than the 4 loans they had) to balance it out 

 

Theyd have signed 6 this window alone, to go with the 20+ in the summer they signed, they must have 40 odd players on the books its silly season. 
 

Arter is still on their books I believe and they dont seem fussed about the youngsters (Lewis Obrian and Toffolo) they signed from Huddersfield in the summer, theyre just rotting away on the sofa at home. 
 

Football at that level is pathetic. everton spending 45 million on conor Gallagher despite being massive trouble financially ffs.
