Rolfey
Jack Earp joined Sheffield Wednesday from Everton in the close season of 1893, where he spent most of his career, becoming club captain and captaining them to victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 1896 FA Cup Final at The Crystal Palace by 2 goals to 1. He played 7 seasons for The Wednesday but lost his place in 1899-1900 after Wednesday’s relegation in1899, and in 1900,after 8 goals in 174 appearances he joined Stockport County. He is one of the 65 players included in the latest 150 year anniversary painting by myself Alan Rolfe available as a superb quality litho print.
