Opposition Corners

Can someone please explain to me why we have to have everyone back defending?

So if we manage to clear the ball it just comes straight back and we are under more pressure.

What really is the point of having someone like JJ/Antonio back when they have the pace for a counter attack.

We are constantly just inviting pressure.

Even when losing tonight and needing a goal we still had everyone back...seriously why????

Is it that big a deal?

Seriously how many times were we in a position to launch a counter attack from a corner when we DIDN'T?

How many times did we launch the ball upfield and get caught offside?

How many times would this one attacker have beaten their two or three defenders and have achieved something.

I suspect it's not many.

leaving one or two strikers up field puts pressure on their defence and if they have pace like antonio or jj could relieve the pressure, and stop the cleared ball coming straight back their defence must have had a field day tonight , no pressure to deliver the ball into the box taking their time to deliver the right pass hmmmm must have been the easiest game they have ever had ,having all the outfield players back is losing the plot somewhat if you ask me ,
