Guest Hatchethazza
Thought there were some positives to take so I'll start with them: Bothroyd looked useful in wide right position and the link up play with COG an Antonio was good. Barkley looked better. Liera looked better than Taylor Buxton had a good game an looked solid Gardner was better Issues range from the one up top at home but I can understand why he went for it an the run we are on but he who dares rodders.. And second to a lot of drop downs today. Team worked fairly hard but we seem caught between trying to play a slow short build up with players who aren't great short passers of the ball and fast paced football but without players bustin a gut to get in areas (reda apart). I hope DJ can turn it around but he's interviews seem not to be quite right in his analysis an this makes me worry. If we are in relegation zone come mid Dec he needs to go to allow a new man to have a look at the squad an make changes in Jan as needed but until then I hope he gets it right. UTO. geriatricowl
If we had won six of our last seven I would also be unhappy playing one up front at home but like you say taking into consideration the position we are in and all the goals we have been shipping it made sense, unfortunately we were undone with sloppy defending again .
