basegreenowl Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 I thought at the end of last season the logical step to keep continuity would have been to move hell and high water to bring back Keith Treacy, Nile Ranger, and Danny Batth. It did not happen. How better do you think we may have faired if we had brought the three guys back as well as Michail Antonio? At present no Danny Mayor, and we can compare the likes of Jay Bothroyd and Martin Taylor against the other aforementioned. Why did we not move for Adam Hammill? That one just baffles. A nippy seasoned championship striker may have helped too. People talk about the defence, but scoring at the other end would help too. Taking a punt on a Spanish striker was always a risk.
