Its a long summer, I'm bored. Lets name our dream coaching team from Wednesday years past!

Physio - Dave Galley

Shared hamstring-rubbing duties with the England national team, left us on a big-money move to Liverpool

Goalkeeper Coach - Martin Hodge

Purely for that time he was re-registered as a player and came on against Grimsby. Marcel Cas had been torturing Jon Beswerthick at left back, so much so Bez was subsituted after 15 mins. Hodge soon flattened him and he didn't threaten for the rest of the game.

Assistant Manager - Kevin Summerfield

Sturrock's defensive co-ordinator and set peice expert. Gave the players a good briefing using charts and maps when they came on as a sub so they knew where to go for corners etc, that was always exciting.

Reserve Team Manager - Chris Waddle

Used to go and watch the reserves a lot in the late 90s under Waddle. Always thought he'd make the step up and take over the first team. Unfortunately not to be.

Scout - Bill Green

Really bigged himself up when he got the caretaker job after Yorath left, but was predicatbly absolutely hopeless. Even made Chris Turner look good when he came in after!
