A bit of calm needed guys

Recommended Posts

A bit of calm is needed guys. If you travelled all the way to support us today, then by all means you're right to be very annoyed by today, but for the rest of us I think we need to just calm down a little and here's why.

Agree with most that we are not as good as our positions suggests, and have not strengthened nearly like we have wanted in the summer/january.

But that should've been highlighted more on here, rather than suddenly exploding tonight. Surely people haven't just realised this, we've known this ever since Jan ended and we lost Marshall and didn't replace him and failed to improve other areas.

Its flipping manic on here tonight though, lets just calm down a little guys. It's only a loss (caused by 2 direct FKs) and we are still up there. We can't keep going ballistic after every defeat (unless it's like the 5-1 Stevenage shambles), teams do lose especially away from home, and if we get so worked up after every loss it will be mental on here.

A little positivity is that maybe Milan will now fund another quality loan signing or two, now that his court case is all over. That could well have been what's been holding him back, and if we can get another young skilful quality winger like we know who in, then we can still go on a run and get auto! We definately need improvements though, otherwise agree it'll be the lottery of the playoffs for us.

And lets not forget we did lose to 2 direct free-kick goals today, very rare that happens. I know it still wasn't convincing and would be papering over the cracks though. Some investment in the team definately needed before we start going places.
