With the new season approaching fast and the friendlies already underway I thought I would enquire if there are any Owls like me living it up on the Spanish Costas. I have lived on the Costa Blanca for the last 12 months in a small village called Hondon de las Nieves about 25km from Alicante although I commute to work just south of Torreveija on a daily basis. Even though it is a tiny village, the last time we were on TV against WBA I decided to watch the match in the village instead of at home and bumped into two removals guys from Doncaster (owls fans) who were watching the game. Having had a season ticket for the last 12 years it is one of the few things I miss about the UK. Meeting up in the Crosspool Tavern and then going down to the Park hotel for pre match beers and now they have cut the internet radio link I can only watch Sky Sports News on saturday afternoons.
