Guest Mancunian_Owl
Only right I pop something in here afterwards. We took 3 teams over with a mix of older and younger age groups for what was a 12 hour round trip. Kids and coaches loved it. They were looked after all day by two good community coaches and were given a real experience of the club. The kids went upto Middlewood and had a 1 1/2 training match and the venue was buzzing with loads of other junior teams from all over Europe as well as the young Owls stuff they are doing. Big difference to last year. Was actually a good game to watch as well, although when Uddersfield equalised one of the players turned and asked me "Do they always let leads slip as easily as that" I replied "They have done for twenty years" Another 35 turned to the Blue and white cause ....
