Neither team could gain control, Ninety minutes; still no goal. With seconds left in stoppage time A winger made a pass sublime, The striker took the perfect feed And gave a sudden turn of speed. He passed the sweeper like a jet And all alone sped toward the net. He feinted left, then feinted right Then took a shot with all his might. I dodge a sliding takle The center half is near All around the football ground And this is what I hear: Fifty thousand football fans shout Shoot shoot shoot From all around the football ground is shoot shoot shoot From thirty yards i then get set I kick the ball straight in the net And hear the roar i cant forget Its a GOAL GOAL GOAL Its a GOAL GOAL GOAL!
