Previous Championship seasons after 12 games

Just had a quick look on statto.com to see how we're doing in comparison (after 12 games) to 3 other seasons where we've struggled in this division.

2005/05 - Newly promoted under Sturrock

11pts - 22nd position

(We got 5 points from the next 3 games to lift us to 18th)

2007/08 - Laws' 6-game losing start

9pts - 22nd position

(We then went on win 4 and draw 2 of next the next 6 games to go 14th)

2009/10 - Relegation season

16pts - 13th position

(We didn't win again for 11 games, by which time Laws was sacked)

Conclusion? Well, we've matched 2007/08's points which we ultimately survived so maybe no need to panic... but we are 7 points behind our last relegation season. Confused? So am I. All I know is that it's almost always difficult to shrug off terrible starts and whether Jones stays or goes I think this season is gonna be a scrap for survival. So what? It's nowt we're not used to. We just have to roll our sleeves up and dig in. UTO.
