The current situation - A couple of questions

With our third defeat in a row, it almost feels like we're losing some of the momentum gained from the fantastic season we had last term. With recent events, a couple of questions popped into my mind:

1) Over the summer did DJ try to do too much, too soon. It almost seemed like he was trying to build a first team and a development squad at the same time all by himself. Do people think he took too much on during this time ?

2) Following on from this. Did he buy too many potential first team players during the summer and possibly should have added just a handful / a few to the team that finished so well last season. In interviews DJ always likes to say, "I build clubs" but did we need a complete overhaul? For the last two seasons promoted teams have done really well in this league. Are we now in danger of bucking this trend?

3) How much has the loss of Terry Burton affected things and what impact is Paul Wilkinson having?
