Josh Bradshaw
Just rumours from my end.... But someone was saying the papers have got it wrong. Were after a Notts County striker and papers jumped to the conclusion of Hughes? This might have been posted elsewhere. Seems possible, im not one for a rumour. Make of it what you will..... CJowL19
Irvine's already confirmed we've inquired about Hughes unfortunately Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine has confirmed he has made an approach for Notts County's Lee Hughes and Brentford's Myles Weston. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_wed/9368636.stm Edited January 20, 2011 by Chris_7
Guest Saturday Owl
Maybe, I thought it was strange we were willing to pay £200k for a 34 year old striker. I think Westcarr may be on his way in after he more than fits the young up and coming stars of the football league being 9 years younger than Hughes. He is a striker but can also play on the wing and has a lot of pace, Alan is clearly looking to add pace to the side so hopefully they got it wrong. Josh Bradshaw
I really don't know, probably just people making rumours. But it does make sense. Guess we'll have to wait and see!
