Wynyard Owl
I’ve been to lots of Semi Finals and for me, our ground holds the finest memories from boy to man Years ago tickets were sold on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t unknown for keen supporters to queue overnight to buy their allocation of ticket's young lads were early so that they could buy and go round to buy again often spares were bought for supporters living away and they added a bob or two to the ticket price so that the young ‘uns could afford to go to the match to swell the funds to buy a programme, drink bottles were collected and returned to the shop to collect the deposit IMO it was good to see the so called lesser teams battle it out for a trip to Wembley I think we have lost a good experience by using Wembley for the Semi Finals and it wouldn’t bother me one jot if the so called big teams were to leave the competition such is progress
