Rolfey Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 Ambrose Langley joined The Wednesday from Middlesbrough Ironopolis in 1893.Langley was a hard tackling fullback, winning an FA Cup winners medal in 1896 along with the Second Division title in 1900 and the Football League Championship in 1903 and 1904.He made a total of 317 appearances for Wednesday and scored 14 goals. In 1905 he became player manager of Hull City. He is just one of 65 players included in the 150 years painting by myself Alan Rolfe, available as a superb quality print £55.00 .
