His only weakness was opened up when he had to cover their left back and was getting beaten for pace by Antonio. At this point you have to wonder why you persist with Bothroyd and instead get JJ on up top. Besides that I think we need to pick out strikers based on how we want to play. If we're going for on the deck more technical football then at the moment I'd go Rodri and Pecnik. If not then COG and Madine started the campaign just fine but it will be a different style. Not possession football. But this idea that we have to have two opposing styles of forward to compliment each other isn't right. Totally different wavelengths. We've got some decent technical players but it all breaks down when they are passing to others who don't play a quick one back or can't see the runs etc. Choose the way you want to play, use the appropriate players.
