Barnowl2
Having witnessed the awful performance at Rochdale, went to Hillsborough last night not knowing what to expect. After all what could DJ do with the same players and maybe 2 training sessions? What we got was a very good all round performance. DJ picked a team that many posters on here have wanted ie a more balanced side with Antonio on the right and M Jones given a chance on the left (rather than Prutton playing out of position) with Lowe (who offers something different) playing up front with a big striker - Madine. Alright it was only Bury - and we will play better sides before the end of the season - but Rochdale were crap and Chesterfield were worse and we couldn't beat either of them. Maybe we are just timimg it right in the home straight to have a good run to coincide with the blunts slide, to clinch second. Best moment last night? while still celebrating the Walsall score - Antonio slots in no3 - Well played Owls - can't wait for Bournemouth WTID
