Fears about Megson and Mandaric coming true?

A Bolton fan I have spoken to always says Megson signs good prospects but doesn't have the man management to get the most out of them. He also said the lack of charisma - the dry hard headed approach - means his teams get stuck in a rut and struggle to get the spark to get out. Is this what we are seeing now?

And as for Milan - he's obviously gone through hell and maybe his family want him to turn his back on England, cut his losses and retire? And can we blame him?

And that leaves us - fifteen years of egos, cast offs and outright charlatans. What I would give for just one season of Sturrock magic. And that's how much we've fallen - faintly dreaming of third tier play off success.
