Dave Jones, disliked though he was, would doubtless have changed things to scupper what Alex Neil was implementing. He might have even had the assurance to change things from the start and completely thwart Neil's plans. Remember Big Ron's long ball which was having Man Utd's full back in all sorts of trouble in 1991, and Wilson and Nilsson doubling up to stop Sharpe too?
