alleni
The Bundesliga have a winter break. Rangers played a German club on the weekend of round 4, we had a blank fixture. Why not pencil in a home friendly against top class German opposition just in case this happens again?

Russy
Need all the weekends we can get off for injurys. Would be a decent little money maker though.

Might even work for other countries who have a winter break such as Russia. Don't you think that we need to gauge ourselves against other clubs and give our players (either seasoned pros or youngsters) some exposure against quality players if we are to move forward
alanharper
So you want us to pencil in a friendly against a big club like Bayern or Dortmund, then turn round and tell them that we want the right to cancel it if we get knocked out of the cup - which, if it goes to a replay, could be as little as just over a week's notice?
