Essix Blue
If you had the option of being able to stay behind at full time, for say 45 minutes - buy a pint and watch the results coming in on Sky TV instead of joining the crush to get out / get to pub / get stuck in traffic, would you? WadsleyOwl
Maybe If there was bigger tv screens to watch Jeff on instead of squinting out of one eye on the colour portables that are there at the moment. Flat screen telly's have never been so cheap as they are now, Get some bought.

Brownlad
No question. In that commercial thread, I mentioned about SWFC buying a pub in hillsborough, or near the ground. Something like that is so guaranteed to win business it's unreal. Say for example the commercial areas at hillsborough, I was lucky enough to get an invite last season in the cup against derby, the only time i've been up there and after the games finished, you all go back into the bar / to your table and have a couple of drinks and chill out for half hour or so. If ALL the fans were able to do that, I'm sure loads of them would.
oh_weds_we_love_you
Thats spot on, a quality idea - saves me parking a 15 min walk to avoid traffic (and the stupid tram gate). It doesn't need all three stands, just have the South (or whichever) open and make it accessible for all straight after the game.

Guest jackowl1867
Is that area left of the main entrance still used as storage? I think it was the press area during Euro 96. That would make an excellent bar.
Belfast Owl 2
not that fussed about standing in a concsoure drinking from a plastic glass at moment would rather go back to a pub now if the Wednesdayite lounge moved to Hillsborough...
Dark$ide
Yes Defo. Can some proper beers be put in as well, carlsberg tastes of pish. especially in the god awful bottles / cans at the ground. give Kelham Island or the Fat Cat a call. I'm sure they could help out no end. Everything is local these days in't it /............
latemodelchild
Definitely. I'd do this after every game. I go straight to the pub anyway. Unless my wife is reading, then its the traffic that makes me late dear.

oh_weds_we_love_you
SWFC buying a pub in hillsborough, or near the ground. An official SWFC pub with Owls memorabilia would be an absolute winner. Wednesdayite use it throughout the week for all their social events too. Easy money.
Guest jackowl1867
That's now the Foers Lounge, seats 300 for a night function Well like someone said I'm not fussed about standing underneath the south or north stand etc but somewhere indoors, a proper lounge/bar would be nice. Oh and can we have hot pork sandwiches too like up in the family stand they is well nice
