scram
Now most people know the square root of rumbleall about academy football - and it's clear on here that many fans think Sean MacAuley IS the academy. So how about some info on the academy structure - how it operates from u9's to u18's and the scholars Some info on some of the other staff - coaches, medical, scouts etc When and where the various teams are playing - where do u9's - u15's teams play their games anyway? So basically a section to elaborate on the academy in general - as well as the scholars and older lads who maybe on the verge of a breakthrough into the 1st team setup Give people a flavour of the complexities of elite youth player development - from 7-8 years old right through to 1st team debuts. The more info the better imo

Sonny
Great idea Scram, exactly the type of things I'd like to hear more about. I'd love to know more about how a player progresses from U9s up to the reserves, how much coaching the young players receive, a typical week for the scholars, what the players can achieve academically and how this measures up to other clubs. etc etc etc
