arkamel
how many fans went to the norwich match coz it was cheaper tickets, poo poo loads thats how many. so why wont the board realise if they lower prices more people will buy season tickets and more people will go 2 games and the club will make money. wake up board and do your job right It's not as simple as that. There will come a point where increased sales does not cover the loss in revenue caused by the tickets being cheaper. Diminishing marginal returns. The club should reduce ticket prices IMO to attract people back but in addition to that they should follow the example of a much more commercially successful club in Sheffield in marketting matches. For example, the Blunts have two matches every season where they charge a tenner for tickets. I think we should do it for three. Additionally, there should be a lower student ticket price and that should be heavily marketted at the local colleges and universities. In addition, anyone buying a full season ticket should be encouraged to join their kids into the Young Owls for, say a tenner, and then the kid should get a season ticket for free. There's lots of ways of getting people to the match without slashing prices that much. We're not going to get 36000 every week but there's no reason why we shouldn't be getting near to 30000.
