SheffieldGraduate
It is no good suggesting fans should come to ground before day of game, because we all know some folk find this very difficult. WEDNESDAY NEED TO PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE OR LOSE POTENTIAL CUSTOM There are lots of indignant supporters who are not coming to games because it is too difficult to get tickets next to friends or family. Tickets are available at turnstyles - but you get random tickets - and no say on where you sit. [ Reduces queue by having more people serving 1 hour before games. Make it possible to sit where you want in sit anywhere stands - thus reducing need to see a employee with a computer. Make it possible to pay by debit cards on certain turnstyles - and perhaps Computerise some turnstyles to enable seat selection. In last two games I have queued for 1 hour and 45 mins trying to get my ticket for the game this cannot be right! THIS IS A PROBLEM - please sort it out
cardiffowl06
Yesterday my friends took 1hr to get theirs, ridiculous. According to them there was 2 people on the ticket operations, and 2 doing to 50/50 draw. :| Buying online could be the answer to your problems, and then you can't sit where you want. How can selling tickets when we stuggle to half fill the ground be that difficult ffs.
@owlstalk
2 things here people.. 1) A 'sit anywhere' policy would solve this one 2) The measures that have been introduced at Sheffield Wednesday over ticketing in the last few years MUST be reversed Again - complete fookwittery on the club's behalf to make it so flipping difficult to purchase their core business (football tickets) Owlstalk Shop
SheffieldGraduate
I went to Argus yesterday and witnessed a self service system that would work perfectly if positioned on turnstyles. It would make it possible to pay by debit or credit card. You idenified product that you wanted - ie where you want to sit left hand side of north stand - centre or right hand side - how many tickets various price bands - total cost - how will you pay - credit card or debit card - touch screen operation - facility to put in pin code . PLEASE GO TO ARGUS AND LOOK AT SYSTEM THIS COULD BE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM! Edited January 5, 2008 by SheffieldGraduate
cardiffowl06
Even ordering online, then having (a) collection machine(s) outside the ground that are working 24/7 so you can pick up your tickets on match day, or at a time to suit you. Not ticket office opening times.

LoadABallacks
i put a thread in here saying, have somewhere to purchase tickets in town, for example the wednesday bit in the co op in towm ( i assume its still there, ive not been in in YEARS) with modern technology surely it cant be that hard! even if its a case of ordering and paying for tickets from there and having them delivered to your house
Guest bradfield owl
It would be nice to see this technology at the ground. I go to every home game that i can get to (about 90% due to work commitment) i always pay at the turnstyles. My friends have season tickets and we always have to find a space (usually the space just to the right of the goal) in the kop so we can all sit together due to random tickets at the turnstyles. (btw hi im new )
Guest Obi-John Kenobi
I order online and collect most games, against watford i ended up walking in 15 minutes late after arriving 30 mins before kick off. They only ever have one bird on collection and she is a *** wit, constantly losing peoples tickets and wanndering off into a back office. It took my gf to shout at someone for them to actually get someone else serving.. all it takes is brains to think... this que will disappear if i get off my Fuc*ing ARSE Edited January 9, 2008 by Obi-John Kenobi
kenny
What about if you order online being able to get an E- ticket where you can print your ticket from your computer. You can do this if you want fly anywhere with certain airlines also if you want to travel a train you can reserve a seat then print off your ticket from your PC.Why not do the same for a football match ? Brownlad
Can I just say... Am I the only one who read the title of this topic in my head in a sort of claims direct / anti-crime advertisement voiceover sort of voice?... y'know... "I am one of many who have fallen victim to internet scammers / damaged my hand on this faulty product" etc etc...
