KivoOwl
Just been watching it, saw a Wednesday goal where MacLean, Wood, Simek, Bougherra and Brunt were all celebrating. Instead of those five, yesterday we had Tudgay, M. Johnson, Bullen, Hinds and O'Brien. Depressing. p.s., the DVD is a terrible production, poorly put together, and started skipping badly about half an hour in and so I have to return it after xmas, and it was meant as a present too
Guest S13OWL
Just wondering I can't remember Wood and Bougherra playing in a match together
KivoOwl
erm... It was two goals in two matches, intertwined, must have been the skipping that did it *runs*

CB31
Got the DVD couple of months ago, disappointing as ever. For the scandalous price it really shouldn't miss goals out, even if they are from the opposition!

BoooooI didn't even know it was out. Was it done in a backroom like the rest of them?
O_D_A
It looks like it's been done by a 15 year old boy who just got Nero and Photoshop
@owlstalk
It looks like it's been done by a 15 year old boy who just got Nero and Photoshop Exactly This is the process so far from what I can see... Take a great idea (match dvd's) from Owsltalk Find the cheapest supplier launch the idea Charge more than people are willing/expecting to pay - despite suggestions, recommendations and ideas on pricing from the customers who wanted them in the first place The dvd's are burnt so quickly and on the cheapest blank dvd's available that they dont' work in dvd players Realise you've fooked up and try again only slowing the burn process down Print the covers and disks in a really shoddy way that makes them look absolute poo Still charge an extravagant amount - way higher than other clubs and more than customers are willing to pay The production process takes longer than it should - especially on the end of season dvd's - meaning that the key sales window is lost by miles Everyone then stops buying them and the faith in the product is lost meaning that a great idea has been shot to pieces by the worst possible delivery Bottom line - GREAT idea - poo poo production of the idea = Overall disappointment, lost faith and just another reason to criticise the 'super' store Owlstalk Shop
O_D_A
Seriously, when Kivo bought his into the Lounge, I thought it was a pisstake he'd notched up in about 10 minutes using a home PC SWFC is a professional business and putting this poo out is making us look like 'Dodgy Kev's Market Stall'
@owlstalk
It's nothing more than what we've come to expect unfortunately The whole retail offering needs a complete overhaul Owlstalk Shop
audin
All the DVDs ive had that are of this 'made in a sweaty bedroom' quality have skipped badly, every single one. I could make a far better production myself. F**ks sake, have they never heard of Adobe Premiere? Sort it out Wednesday
@owlstalk
bad skipping is a combination of poor production, really poor quality disks and fast speed burning Owlstalk Shop

A lot of very talented and willing people on here could and would make the DVDs for the club out of their own free time and do a better job (me included, and I only have basic Adobe Premier skills.). It really isn't that difficult, yet they don't consult the fans at all. If there is only 1 commercial idea in this section it should be to consult the fans, via forums such as this and utilise the skills that are availible to them to produce things we are willing to pay good money for. It isn't rocket science - we are the paying customers, ask us what we want and we will give you the money! It really is that simple and would improve turnover and fan morale by a stupidly big amount! All you need is some graphics experience with Photoshop and some knowledge of Premiere. I did both at Uni and still mess about with both now so I have a good understanding of it (don't tend to use much of it in my work though). Give us a ring Wednesday Or better still, ring Neils brother! Bet he'd do a reight job...
@owlstalk
Anyone remember this one from 12 years ago? Absolute disaster of a DVD release and typical of the retail stuff we've had to put up with over the years. I'm hoping Joe Palmer can deliver a fully functioning and exciting retail outlet for Wednesday fans in his time here Owlstalk Shop
