Blind man in North Stand .....

Recommended Posts

When i was a lad.... i think it was the 91 promotion season when i think we played Bristol City and beat them 3-1 ....... well, anyway, there was a blind man who was sat near us in the North Stand, he had a radio walkman thing. If you are reading this just wondered how you were doing old chap?

Is it the guy that won fan of the year on sky years ago?

He sits on the kop and has super hearing, i once asked for a score and he turned around from miles away and told me and i thought how the feck did he hear that until i noticed he was blind

Really nice guy and a credit to the club

He's probably a club scout.

I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and the Queen, and to do a good turn every day.

I work with a blind guy, he's a season ticket holder at the lane and has been to every league ground in the country (give or take the odd recent move).

That chap is an absolute genius.

They have been disconnected from the Internet for a bit due to a dispute or something.

There was a blind guy with his wife on the same coach as me a few years ago going down to plymouth. Top bloke to go all that way when you cant actually see the game.
