SheffWedOwl Posted August 13, 2007 Author Share Posted August 13, 2007 Luckily, I missed it. I've only been living here for six weeks. But from what I've seen, the country took quite a battering. And it wasn't the wind's that caused all the damage, it was the flooding. It washed away whole houses, bridges, roads, factories - everything. I've been out and seen some of the badly affected areas and don't think they'll ever get back to how they were. Hope it doesn't happen again while i'm here!
