From nowhere near ready for first team football to getting offered improved long term contract...

How quickly things can change in young player's career. So, so nice to see when they change to better like this.

Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come.

You don’t know if there ready until you blood them ! And if they are as he is get him tied down. Very unlike us to do all this so let’s hope they have eventually learned. Although I do believe this is on Röhl not Chansiri

Is there no limit to what DC will do to boost early bird sales? £30 grand a week strikers, contract offer to Cadamarteri. He’ll be offering to give the 1867 group the ground next!

That might be the only thing that stops the the DC lovers from doing so. lol

The two might be linked.

He’ll probably end up giving Cadamateri the 30 grand a week.

Just think if we had invested the same time and energy in other young players, instead of giving them no game time then releasing them at the end of the season.

Wednesday of old would have dropped Bailey on Saturday and played Windass up front and we probably would not have won the game.

Let hope the likes of Shipston,  Fusire and a few of the others youngsters get game time and lets have 4 or 5 young prospects in the first team squad. Instead of wasting money on expensive loan flops.

To be fair, with the exception of Hirst have any of the others that we didn't sign to long term deals gone on to have decent careers? They all seem to have ended up in the lower echelons of football.

Missed the boat on Hirst but looks like we finally have some decent talent on our hands and the club is making the necessary next steps. Just hope it's a reasonable offer and Bailey is willing to sign.

If you are good enough you are old enough. He doesn't like he needs to grow 6 inches or work on his physicality either.

Young players need a rest now and again. I wouldn't expect him to play every game for 90 minutes. The coaching team will sub him early in a few games or bring him on as a sub rather than starting him.

Wrap him in cotton wool to some extent. He does look like a well built lad though.

Just need the fans to not lose their mind if he does find himself rested. We have a lot of fixtures over December so it's a given that he's not going to start every game.
