Cadamarteri and His Dad

Recommended Posts

At u9’s Danny was doing a bit of coaching at Swfc

Bailey came down one day and joined in with the u9’s

Matt Burton coach at the time liked him but his parents were a bit reluctant after a poor experience at Huddersfield

But Bailey even at that age was strong willed

credit to his mum and dad who let him make his own decisions

Has for been a Wednesday fan he was definitely a Man Utd fan in his younger age but I suppose after 10 years at Wednesday he’s now very much a fan

"And it's Cadamarteri. Her knocks it on to Cadamarteri. Cadamarteri squares it. Well controlled by Cadamarteri. He lays it off again to Cadamarteri. He darts to the byline and crosses for Cadamarteri. Goal! Cadamarteri with a lovely finish. He rushes over to Cadamarteri to celebrate."

Remember we also have this young lad who plays for Portugal if we can hang onto him.

In addition lad representing Wales and others Northern Ireland.

Academy looking ok and we have manager and coaching set up designed to bring them through. A few might start to get excited.

Hi Mrs Cadz 👋 Your son played well yesterday!

Seriously though,  that’s some inside knowledge!

If the future's that good I might have to reevaluate my eating and drinking habits to see if I can live a bit longer.

I'll start in the new year 😌

Apologies if this has been answered before but how did we acquire Bailey into our academy?

His dad is “head of individual development” at the sty, so given their academy has a much better reputation than ours, did he deem his son not good enough originally? If not, what was the story?

Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t complaining, I just find it bizarre his dad is in a development role at our neighbours.

Yes he is at the Sty now but he was with us then.

A few weeks ago the least believable bit of that imagined scenario would be  "Goal!"

runs his own coaching school, called soccer Akidemy .

as below one of my mates lads plays there.

The Soccer Akidemy was set up and is run by Danny Cadamarteri who is a former Premier league footballer. Danny Started his early football days in the Bradford Schools program before being scouted by multiple clubs , the likes of Manchester united and City , Leeds , Bradford and Barnsley before finally accepting a place in Everton's highly successful Academy.

By the age of 17 Danny was already making waves in the premier league scoring and creating goals and spent 6 years playing in the premier league with Everton. After that Danny had spells in the championship , league one and also the Scottish premier league before retiring through injury at the age of 34.

When Danny retired he was already well into his own coaching development, coaching in the pre academy program at Huddersfield Town as well as the foundation phase at Everton Fc. Danny was also coaching the Leeds Utd Ladies 1st team until he was offered a Youth Development phase Coaching role at Sheffield Wednesday.

Danny Spent 4 years Working through every age group at Sheffield Wednesday from U6s through to U23s until he was head hunted in 2017 by Premier league club Burnley to head their U18s Youth Squad in the Professional Development league.

Since then Danny has also been coaching a National level with England U18s where he is deployed as a Specialist out of possession coach with the current U17s World Cup holders .

My grandson is a goalkeeper there, excellent set up and quality coaching.
play against a number of league clubs Academy’s too. He really wants the kids to be successful
