Are people really going to renew their season tickets?

No Myself and the three others who go with me will not be. Chansiri has taken the ******** with the price. Mostly because of him and running of the club.

Wouldn't consider buying one now, while he owns the club.

Five of us in north......not a prayer till he goes

I've been going for 65 years, I have health and mobility issues that mean I can't get to every match particularly in winter even though I've got a season ticket.

I hate what DC is doing to our club but dread the thought my issues will eventually prevent me from attending. So if the cost isn't prohibitive I'm going to keep going while I can.

Fully understand and applaud any fans that will take a stand and not renew but personally I just can't do it.

Fair play mate..... isn't it sad the predicament were all in....

There is of cause, the elephant in the room.

Fans buy early bird to save £50-100 on possible end of season price.

should DC money troubles continue and he cannot pay the bills, the club get put into administration by the creditors and a n other owner comes in to buy SWFC.

the early bird money is converted to a creditor who get 10p in the £1 back and fans then have to buy another season ticket in the summer. As the new owner would not be coming in to pay DC debts and you can guarantee that Early Bird money will be spent before next season starts.

I will wait and see the price and position the team are in upon release.

I won't be grudge anyone who does though and wont say they are part of the problem. For some fans it maybe the only outlet they have to meet old friends, get out of the house, it could be the only thing they have in life win lose or draw so it's not in me to blame them for getting one.

A big issue for me is that even if we get 100 points in league one next season, I won't find it very exciting.

I know I probably sound ungrateful, but when you have been there done it, for 25 years it's true.

As it stands, I think we'll be mid table in league one next season, which isn't exciting either.

We pay the highest prices in the league with as little as possible investment in the club, team and infrastructure.

why do we have to pay so much, but receive so little every season.

how many more years are people going to keep falling for it.

There’s not a cat in hells chance of any new owner invalidating season tickets already bought

it would be a PR disaster on day one and you’d have to question if their judgement was worse than the current incumbent

It might be, but it would be the new owners fault but DC taking money and not repaying.

the safest bet it to not give your money to DC.

There is no difference in safety…….if we went in to admin then the new owner would not invalidate season tickets already bought.

I can’t guarantee it but the chances of them still being valid are 100%

Until I see the price of them, I cannot say for definite.

I don't like Chansiri and want him out of our club,  I really do.  But deep down, I can't see him leaving because season ticket holders don't renew.  He doesn't even want season tickets to exist.  He wants everyone to pay for each game. It's only because people in the club explained about the deep tradition of season tickets that we still have them.

The thing is, I really love watching Wednesday, both in the good times and bad.  I don't want to watch another team on a Saturday like others have suggested.  I don't get excited by watching a non league or premier league team who I have no affiliation, love or memories with. I want to watch the owls in whatever league they are in.  I want to travel up and down the country watching and supporting us, not anyone else.

I get the fact that people won't renew and hats off to them if that's what they want to do.  I know that they also love Wednesday, but I personally would find it very hard to walk away and not watch us week in, week out, just because of a two hat of a chairman. So if I can afford it and I don't feel ripped off, I will renew, even if he is still here.

What really needs to happen is that everyone who is p*ssed off at Chansiri, needs to turn up at the South Stand directors entrance the next time he is in town and show him directly that we don't want him here. If you haven't got a ticket, stay outside the entrance all game and when he comes out for a fag, make his smoke miserable.  After the game, again protest and chant. Not renewing won't show him that, not paying on the day will show him that.  His narcistic tendancies will show ticket sales down due to us being fairweather fans and being bottom of the league, not the fact he is a two hat.

We need to mobilise as a fan base and demonstrate the next time he is at Hillsborough.

Spot on. It’s a challenge many are facing I.e Wednesday till I die! but Chansiri out definitely!

was Saturday painful? Yes

did I stay to the final whistle? Yes🤷‍♂️

I also don’t watch or care about football. It’s only Wednesday that matter. I get the whole  don’t put a penny in but at the same time I want to support and watch Wednesday.

The big worry is if he screws around with HMRC and we get liquidated. You lose your money.

If you must buy, just get the one year ticket as a precaution.

Simple not true.

The administrator would be called in to see if there is a viable option. The season ticket holders have a contract and are not creditors. The contract has to be honoured.

Unless the administrators cannot a) do a deal with the creditors and b) find someone to take it on.

If they dont then there is no SWFC and no club. SWFC 2023 Ltd isnt entitled to a place in the EFL only Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Ltd is, if it is liquidated then it is the end.
