Are people really going to renew their season tickets?

Yes. As much as the prices annoy me, i know ill still renew.

yeah, yeah, yeah, i know… im part of of the problem.

You're just a loyal fan caught on the horns of a terrible dilemma.

Here's a suggestion though, don't renew the ticket, just go to pay on the day. That way you'll deprive him of the money up front to send a message bur still be supporting the club.

I will.

Hope, that's why.

I know it's a cliché but it is the hope that kills you.

That's the reason I haven't renewed this season and wont next season.

The hope has gone. I don't expect to be winning every week, just the hope that things might get better. They can't and won't.

But pay in more money over the season?

What are those people going to do after Chansiri has killed the club for good?

Extremely unlikely to happen.

For me. Unless there's a concerted drive, whereby there's confidence in thousands of other s/t holders abstaining, I probably won't forego spending Saturdays with certain people who I'd only otherwise see occasionally.

'You could still make plans with them every other weekend'. Yeah. Kind of. Except humans don't really work like that in reality.

The yet to be announced prices could of course change my mind

but isnt that the  gamble buying so far ahead .....(dont laugh) but if we got promoted this season the prem season tickets would go thru the roof with this clown in charge  and the multi yearers would be quids ahead .that we are going to get relegated  and they may end paying more than a single season ticket holder  is there bad luck .........if its true though  that the deal was buy a multi ticket coz it will always be the cheapest then i'd be asking for a rebate of some sort .

It could be seen that way, but that's very much going against the unspoken rule of such offers.

It's the same principle as buying a season ticket: you expect it to be cheaper than paying on the gate every game.

If it's not, then nobody would buy another season ticket.

Just as nobody would buy another multi-season one if they could have got in cheaper by paying separately each year.

No chance for me UNLESS Chancer does one or we see a miracle in January and we recruit players to keep us up.

Sadly even then we'd struggle again next season with Chancer running the show.

Many fans don't have a choice because the prices are prohibitive for many on low income or have excessive bills which just keeping going up.

DC has tested fans loyalty but has diddly squat knowledge of why football fans are so loyal. He has and does continue to abuse fans loyalty.

It really is sad when our owner is preventing existing fans from attending and putting off future fans. He is killing the club and running peoples lives in the process.

What concerns me is the 3 year ticket equated to £575 on the North, meaning a minimum £100 extra than I paid last year for what’s looking a L1 ticket.

The issue is where does it stop unless people don’t buy them.

Can always offer the small % of fans who purchased multi year tickets a discount on a subsequent season ticket to bring the cost down for those who do decide the renew next season

Even DC must realise that he can't be charging £575 for a north stand season ticket in league 1

I don't have a season ticket but yes I would definitely.

If you were to ask me if I wouldn't fly over for games next season I'd laugh in your face.

Depending on prices I'll probably renew.

Despite this sh!tshow and Dejphon the despot, it's something I enjoy doing with family and friends.

I'm more than happy to protest against this chump, and feel as a fanbase we need to be mobilised into a well thought out and noisy mob, but I'm not sure not going is the answer.

Having said that it seems to have worked for Hull - remember their poor turnouts under previous owners.

I think I might have changed my own mind.

I don't know what I'm going to do.

Exactly this.

We're probably on the cusp of trading insolvently and yet fans are prepared to give him thousands for 3 & 5 year Season Tickets.

The stupidity of people never fails to disgust me.

The stupidity of people commenting on other people's decisions without even knowing them never mind their circumstances never fails to amaze me

I decided I’m not giving any more money to DC so no season ticket for me next year. I don’t have any issue with those who want to keep going but I honestly think the only way DC will sell us is if we starve him out.
I suppose I would consider renewing if the continuous circus stopped and DC started running the club properly but what is the chance of that happening? Less than zero I’m afraid.

That is meaningless. You don't have season ticket, so it is irrelevant whether you would renew or not.

Wouldn't that be worth it if it helps get Clueless out?

In addition, unless you go to 80% or more of all home games it'll probably be cheaper. Was certainly the case when I used to have a season ticket, but then I wanted to have a guaranteed spot next to my friends.
