Are people really going to renew their season tickets?

They’ll be the highest priced ST’s in the whole EFL and we’ll be playing league one football… probably not even at the top of the table

Why will they be, I think you are getting confused with where the season ticket prices ended for this year and not where they started, the early bird were cheaper than Rotherham and only £35 more than non league side Chesterfield.

There is no reason at all why he cant sell them for the multi year season ticket price or even below it if he wants. He wants the most money in as possible and he will price to maximise that.

The best thing that he could do to increase sales is to get the team to win a few games.

Not me, it'll kill me and I know I'll be itching to renew but I just can't stand the idea of giving that crook another penny.

I might renew one of the kids tickets just so I've got a decent number of ticket priority points to do the away games with.

I've been going for 65 years, I have health and mobility issues that mean I can't get to every match particularly in winter even though I've got a season ticket.

I hate what DC is doing to our club but dread the thought my issues will eventually prevent me from attending. So if the cost isn't prohibitive I'm going to keep going while I can.

Fully understand and applaud any fans that will take a stand and not renew but personally I just can't do it.

I honestly don't know if I will renew.

I probably will but used to renew automatically.

I do enjoy the social side of going to games though but if price for my seat in the North is pushing £600 for League 1 football than everyone has they limit.

I’d imagine it’s a personal choice. Some will. Some won’t.

to some supporting the team is more important than the current incumbent at the top.

I can understand whichever way people want to go.

Don't think I will be. Based on the 3 year season ticket prices, it will be an absolute minimum of £630 for me to renew,  plus my lad. Likely to be more.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it, but not willing to due to not only the incompetence and discontent shown by the chairman towards his "customers", but also based on his most recent throwing toys out of the pram outburst, where he's said we have cashflow issues and are effectively close to bust unless he stumps up. On that basis, why would would I sink £££'s into a club that could go bust at any moment, along with my money. I'd certainly give some serious thought to buying a season ticket in cash. Perhaps a credit card would be a safer bet and paying off in full (if you can)

I wish the pro Chansiri brigade would open their eyes, for the last couple of years he’s been trying to pay back to himself the millions he initially spent on overpriced players which was part of his plan to try and get us into the Premiership and for him to get his ‘pot of gold’’. As it didn’t work out the way he planned we were left with a whopping wage bill that he has gone out of his way to reduce since.

Now he rarely spends much money buying new players preferring to get other clubs casts off for nowt and this has notably reduced his wage bill and our ability to compete, especially this season.

Now take his incomings particularly this year to date with His share of the playoff’s Wembley,  the EFL L1  third place money and obviously season tickets and sponsorship monies, it all amounts to many many millions especially in comparison to previous years.

With the clearly reduced overhead  etc he still has the audacity to ask supporters to help pay the players wages and HMRC when he clearly has the funds to cover the costs. But to try and get his own back on the supporters who vocally want him to sell up and leave  he tries to hoodwink those supporters by asking them to  pay his pending bills which clearly shows the lack of respect he has for his ‘customers’ the loyal supporters

Seriously the man wants investigating for the way he has run our club and hopefully the EFL will see for once and all that Chansiri is not a ‘Fit and Proper’ owner of an EFL club, he definitely is not now, he has not been in the past and will probably not be in the foreseeable future.

He can undercut the latest multi-year tickets if he wants, but it would almost certainly kill off the scheme for future seasons.

Part of the deal with those tickets is that they're supposed to offer the cheapest prices as a trade-off for locking yourself in and shelling out a lump sum up front.

Somebody who's bought a three-year season ticket in the South is paying £630 for next season's matches, and they'd quite rightly be a bit p*ssed off if one-year season tickets were then available for less than that.

but isnt that the  gamble buying so far ahead .....(dont laugh) but if we got promoted this season the prem season tickets would go thru the roof with this clown in charge  and the multi yearers would be quids ahead .that we are going to get relegated  and they may end paying more than a single season ticket holder  is there bad luck .........if its true though  that the deal was buy a multi ticket coz it will always be the cheapest then i'd be asking for a rebate of some sort .

Easy to say to be honest if you don't go anyway.

For many, going to a game transcends the football itself and is the focal point of their week. Family and friends. Long standing rituals. An escape.

What are those people going to do after Chansiri has killed the club for good?
