Dawson    -    6     Still doesn`t fill me with confidence, he was all over the place in that passage of play when they hit the bar.

Palmer    -    5    Poor today, especially so for the first goal where he sliced the ball out of play , then got turned so easily.

McGuinness     -    6    A bit sloppy by his own high standards

James    -    6.5     Decent again

Mighten    -    5    Defended quite well tbf but I assume he was signed to attack players and get crosses in....so if thats the case why does he always turn back ?...cant think of one cross he put in.

Bakinson    -    4    So frustrating , has the raw materials but so careless and lethargic

Bannan    -    6.5    Far from his best but still our creative hub

Byers    -    6.5    Smartly taken goal but a bit rusty overrall....good to have him back

Johnson    -    6    gets an extra point for a cool finish....pretty uninspiring otherwise

Gregory    -    6.5    Started quite brightly......thankfuly not serious

Smith    -    5    Just a bit meh......

SUBS

Vaulks    -    6    Nothing special but an improvement on Bakinson

Paterson    -    4    Barrelled around without looking like creating or scoring.

An away win when it didnt look likely so pleased with that and still in touch with top two......but by christ we are a difficult watch atm.

Some very harsh scoring imo. I thought Mighten had a decent game today and Paineas definitely better than a 4

Marvin Johnson for me. Purely for the calmness scoring the goal. Good technique and finish.  Mcguiness was solid again.

increasingly worried about smith. No pace whatsoever and particularly laboured when closing down. Also not very strong either. Seems to be bullied off the ball far too easily, and poor at wining his knock ons given his size.

Liam Palmer being confirmed as Carlton's son was a cracking opener.🤣

i thought he said that but my screen buffered  and  didnt quite catch it and thought nah he couldnt have said it ......as commentators go its fair to say he'd not done his prep

James was good, McGuiness was good but Johnson gets it for me. 1 assist which was a shot, not a very good one, that Byers converted. Johnson also scored with a very good shot but the clincher was that clearance off the line.

My MOM was the Fleetwood commentator. Some absolute quality gaffes and the only reason I saw the game out.

Talk about guesswork. Along with the Palmer gaffe I thought mixing Bakinson with Mcguinness was up there

A fantastic three points with another poor performance. We need two more in the next week as we have a horrible set of fixtures in January/February.

Dawson 6 one good save but every time the ball is in the box it’s scary. Awful on crosses

Palmer 7 solid and battled away

McGuinness 7 as above. He’s a rock but stop giving away stupid free kicks

James 6 ok but struggled in the first twenty minutes

Mighten 6 felt sorry for him. Shouldn’t be playing , especially at wing back. Good defensively, awful going forward

Bakinson 4 very poor performance. Has no consistency. Some awful decision making

Bannan 6 defended very well but poor on the ball until the last 15 minutes

Byers 8 welcome back Georgy boy! We’ve missed him so much. Some excellent tackles and a customary goal. Excellent

Johnson 8 I thought he was having an awful game but then he clears one off the line and volleys one in from 20 odd yards. Well done Marv.
Gregory 7 I thought he was excellent till he succumbed to injury. Starts every game for me.

Smith 5 I honestly have no idea how he scored so many goals for ToyTown. Slow and cumbersome and never looks like scoring. Been poor for over a month and should be dropped if Gregory isn’t injured.

Paterson 6 battled away. I guess it was the right decision on that pitch to bring him on

Vaulks 7 did well when he came on

Dele-Bashiru 6 helped run the clock down

Windass 6 as above

Moore 6 got his starting eleven wrong again but his substitutions worked

I've gone for Dawson. Nothing he could do about the goal and made a couple of vital saves which kept us in it.

Byers up there too considering he put in a great performance despite having been out for so long.

Hard to choose a mom, as no one impressed, even BB was quiet.

Smith just doesnt look like scoring despite working hard.

Mighten simply isnt good enough. Hes in the 3rd tier and doesnt show pace, trickery or shooting ability. He worked hard today to defend but is not the answer for us. We need an upgrade in january. Forest cant be impressed with him. Its like he needs to drop down a division again
