Fleetwood Town  V    Sheffield Wednesday

Recommended Posts

Merry Christmas Wednesdayites!

Hoping for a positive attacking display this afternoon.  Would love to see Gregory and Smith start along with Byers.  Bring Dennis the Menace on for a cameo last 20 mins and goal.

Let’s kick start the second half of the season with a bang!

Great OMDT M'lord and like my fellow owls-supporting, sprout-appreciateing comrade, @NobbyStyle, I also cooked my sprouts in bacon (lardons) and a very small drizzle of walnut oil because, erm....this missus kept me out of the email loop on the amount of walnut oil left in reserve. We've a meeting scheduled for 9:00 on Tuesday to get to the bottom of how such a thing could happen. Nonetheless, the sprouts went down a treat, with everyone. You heathen!

lol

Fleetwood seem to be the draw specialists, and we've had 3 on the bounce. I think that trend will be stopped today. 3-0 to the Owls.

we are playing fleetwood if we are more worried about them we should pack it up . hopefully this 9 day break and players back will involve a weds win and attacking line up .

Indeed.

Just lost one of their main singers too.

Fleetwood have won one and lost three of their last six home games.

We really should be expecting three points there today.

It feels like there's a desire to put these last three stodgy performances behind us and kick on again, so let's hope that's the case.

Fingers crossed at least one if not both of Bannan and Byers are back, as without both of them, we simply don't have anything like the same control in the middle of the park.

First game this season I couldn't get a ticket for, was just 10 points short.

Great decision from the fixture planner, one of the most popular game days of the season, so we'll send the team with the biggest away following in the EFL to the ground with the lowest away capacity in the division...

If Bannan is back we’ll probably scrape a 1-0 win

But regardless of personnel if we don’t take the handbrake off soon and actually play like we want 3 points we’re screwed again this season

And if just one of our free kicks goes backwards I’m kicking the telly out the bleedin window

Madness isn't it?  Why not send us to to a club with a decent away allocation to boost their bank balance?  The mind boggles.
